Born on 7 March 1973, Arnab Goswami’s age is 47 years as of 2021. He was born and brought up in an army family from Guwahati, Assam, India.
He spent his childhood in various cities across the country and attended different schools. He completed his early education from Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi Cantonment and then he joined Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jabalpur Cantonment from where he completed his senior secondary education.
Arnab completed his graduation in Sociology from the Hindu College University of Delhi, New Delhi. After that, he has done his master’s in Sociology Anthropology from Oxford University, England. Since childhood, Arnab has an interest in debates and he participated in many debate competitions during his school and college life.

Arnab Goswami Career
Arnab Goswami started his career as a journalist with the newspaper The Telegraph in 1990. He worked there for only a few months and then shifted his job.
In 1995, he relocated to Delhi and started working as a news anchor with the popular news channel NDTV 24*7. After working for 3 years as a news anchor with the channel he was promoted as news editor in the channel.
He hosted his news show on the channel and even co-hosted popular news anchor Rajdeep Sardesai on DD Metro Channel. After that in 2002, Arnab launched his first book titled Combating Terrorism The Legal Challenge which was focused on the difficulties in law-making against terrorists and terrorism.
In 2006, Arnab started his journey as the editor in chief with the Times Now news channel and hosted various popular news shows.
In the year 2017, Arnab started his news channel titled Republic TV and become the number one news channel soon after its launch.
