In 1971, he became the president of the company and renamed it from Elizabeth Trump and sons to The Trump Organization. He opened casinos, plazas, parks, hotels, golf clubs, etc which made great revenue. His company faced losses during the early 1990s because of the financial crisis in the USA.
He began his political career in 1987 and he went on to become the US President in 2016 by defeating Hillary Clinton, his biggest rival. His slogan of “Make America Great Again” became very popular during this time.
